To let instinct work in harmony with general intention. To create the way a child plays. Carefree. In their own world.
Why do we let ourselves lose our sense of play? Of wonder.
Forcing things rarely works out. The kid in me wanted to create impossible structures. The adult in me wanted to work minimally. Why resist.
Each image has a title but they aren't listed so that the instant categorization of words won’t influence what you see. They are what you let your imagination see.
To me, some of these pieces have specific meaning. I saw something in my head and created it. I’d like to not to see the same thing every time, but if there was a loose idea in their creation and you remember that initial thought, it stays with you. It’s a memory. It can bring you back in time.
The kid who sees a giant in the sky and the adult says, in correction, it looks more like a tree—even though all he sees are clouds. It can so quickly become the kid who sees a wolf, but says it looks like a bunny, and the adult approves.
